Caitlin Clark made her return to the floor on Wednesday night.
Clark had missed each of the two prior Fever games with a back injury. On Tuesday, Clark was optimistic that she would make a return this week, though she indicated it could be on a minutes restriction. Sure enough, Clark did play on Wednesday night at the Los Angeles Sparks but saw just 16 minutes of action.
In its day-before injury report versus the Sparks, Clark was listed as probable (back) and Fever center Aliyah Boston was listed as questionable (right lower leg).
Ahead of its game at the Sparks, Fever head coach Stephanie White laid out the plans this week for both Clark and Boston. The pair of Fever stars will alternate games played, with Clark sitting on Thursday night at the Phoenix Mercury.
"Yeah, she just did some of the shooting. She's going to be out tonight," White said of Boston. "Again, with a back-to-back and Caitlin a back-to-back, Caitlin's going to be active tonight, AB's not. And then they'll flip-flop tomorrow night."
