Paddy Pimblett suggests Conor McGregor would be the “perfect fight” after UFC 329.
It seems the sportsbooks agree, as BetOnline.ag just opened “The Baddy” as the -150 favorite for a proposed showdown at Madison Square Garden later this year. As for McGregor, he starts out as the +130 underdog. That’s not a particularly huge spread by any means and could easily flip once money starts trickling in.
No doubt the performances from each combatant at this weekend’s UFC 329 event in Las Vegas will determine the direction of their current betting line. McGregor is tasked with rematching Max Holloway in the main event, while Pimblett co-headlines the T-Mobile Card opposite French sensation Benoit Saint Denis.
I guess we’ll have to put his fight against this “fat featherweight” on hold.
McGregor is also an underdog against Holloway, despite defeating the Hawaiian back in 2013, after a five year layoff and a broken leg. A lot of questions will be answered when “Notorious” takes the cage on July 11 in Las Vegas but some of them may have already been answered long before UFC 329.
