Meanwhile, Nick Trottier holed the par 3 11th hole for the day's signature shot.
Evan Russell, a two-time Amateur winner, and Luke Russell are tied for fourth at 1-over. Garren Poirier, who won this tournament in 2020, and Bryan Smith, the 2016 champ, are tied for sixth along with Stephen Goodridge and Jay Zanleoni at 2-over.
Taylor Bellemare and Jacob Lowe share 10th through 18 holes at 3-over.
