Marjorie Taylor Greene recently compared Taylor Swift's popularity to President Donald Trump's.
The former Georgia congresswoman, 52, appeared as a guest host on the Tuesday, July 7 episode of The View and discussed the 36-year-old pop star's wedding to Travis Kelce, which took place at Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3.
"Well, first of all, congratulations to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. I thought it was fantastic," she gushed. "I think it's absolutely absurd for the 80-year-old president of the United States to attack one of the most popular musicians and talented women, who is so generous to her staff and takes care of them."
Host Joy Behar jumped in, saying, "But he thinks he's more popular than her. Didn't he say that this weekend?"
"Yeah, I think that's why he's always picking on her because he would like to be," the politician replied. "Well, and her concerts turn out masses [sic] amount of people. A lot more than, tragically, the state fair, and I think that says a lot."
