In a recent print edition, Estadio Deportivo claimed that Chelsea are big admirers of Rayo Vallecano left-back Pep Chavarria this summer. It has been mentioned that the Blues are keeping a keen eye on the Spanish defender in this transfer window.
The 28-year-old managed to shine at times on the left side of Rayo Vallecano’s defence in the previous campaign when he produced a run of solid displays for them in La Liga. Chavarria found the back of the net once and grabbed three ****** ists in 44 matches for the Spanish outfit last season in multiple competitions.
The Spanish sensation is currently among the most experienced full-backs in La Liga. Therefore, the Blues would do well to lure him to Stamford Bridge this off-season.
His current contract at the Spanish club will run out in the summer of 2030, which could make it difficult for Chelsea to land him later this year.
