USA and Belgium square off in the Round of 16, renewing acquaintances from their 2014 World Cup meeting at this same stage, a match the Red Devils came away with 2-1 win.
Getting back to this point wasn't easy for either team. The USA advanced by beating Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0, with Folarin Balogun opening the scoring in the first half and Malik Tillman adding a late second-half goal.
Belgium's road was much ***** pier, with the Red Devils down 2-0 to Senegal as late as the 85th minute before Romelu Lukaku and Youri Tielemans found the net within three minutes of each other to send the match to extra time, where Tielemans netted the winner on a 125th-minute penalty.
The rosters look a lot different this time around. None of the USA's 2014 squad remain, but Belgium still has several familiar faces: Thibaut Courtois is still manning the net, while Kevin De Bruyne and Lukaku are both still in the squad.
