Jemele Hill is no stranger to controversial takes and has often been **** ociated with her opinions on Caitlin Clark. The former ESPN journalist recently got tangled with Democratic Congressman from Philadelphia, Brendan Boyle, on social media after he gave his opinion on the WNBA’s treatment of Clark. Hill did not let that slide and reshared it, taking a dig at Boyle.
The congressman stated in his first post that he was not a WNBA fan, as the league doesn’t have a Philly team. He wrote:
“Admittedly I’m not a big WNBA fan and won’t be until Philly gets a team. But it’s just bizarre to me they don’t market the one player they have who attracts so many fans, and that’s Caitlin Clark. It’s so strange. I remember the way the NBA marketed Jordan to the hilt.”
The WNBA **** yst responded to Boyle’s take, saying it’s strange that he knew the league’s marketing of Clark if he wasn’t a fan. Hill replied:
“If you’re not a big WNBA fan and don’t watch, then how would you even know how they market Caitlin Clark?
You’re also wrong, but please continue with your sizzling take.”
