India will lock horns with England in the first of the five-match T20I series on Wednesday afternoon at the Riverside Ground in Durham.
This will mark England's first appearance in the format since suffering a semi-final exit against India at the T20 World Cup back in March, while India themselves arrive in Durham still reeling from a stunning 2-0 series loss to Ireland just days earlier.
India will be led into this series by Shreyas Iyer, who took over the T20I captaincy after Suryakumar Yadav was dropped from the setup.
