Cristo Fernández, the Ted Lasso actor and newest El Paso Locomotive player , was in California on Sunday, June 28, to do the coin toss for the South Africa and Canada match. The Round of 32 match was played at SoFi Stadium.

For Fernández, the moment was more than a cameo in the grand World Cup stage.
