According to Mundo Deportivo, Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic has once again offered himself to Barcelona as the club searches for a new centre-forward following Robert Lewandowski’s departure.
While Julian Alvarez remains Barcelona’s top target, uncertainty surrounding Ferran Torres’ future has created another possible opening in Hansi Flick’s attack, encouraging the Serbian striker to renew his interest in a move to the Camp Nou.
Barcelona continue to focus their efforts on signing Alvarez. The Argentine has publicly stated his desire to leave Atletico Madrid this summer, admitting he wants to fulfill his dream of playing for Barcelona.
Within the club, he is viewed as the ideal long-term successor to Lewandowski. Negotiating with Atletico, however, is expected to be extremely complicated, forcing Barcelona to keep alternative options under consideration.
Barcelona’s search for attacking reinforcements is not solely driven by Lewandowski’s departure. Questions also remain over Ferran’s future.
