The Charlotte Hornets acquired Xavier Tillman Sr. at February's trade deadline, reuniting him with Charles Lee. Unfortunately for Tillman Sr., he struggled mightily after joining the Hornets, averaging 0.8 points, 1.1 rebounds and 0.5 ***** ists in 16 games.
With free agency on the horizon this summer, Tillman Sr. wasted no time finding a new home, opting to sign in Turkey before the NBA's free agent signing period began. A former NBA champion with the Celtics, Tillman Sr. will now join Trabzonspor. There he'll join another former NBA product, Shaquille Harrison. If able to showcase defensive versatility and improvements from beyond the arc, the 27-year-old Tillman Sr. still has plenty of time to return to the NBA.
