Prince George will soon be a teenager, and he's gearing up to start a new school.
The eldest child of Prince William and Princess Kate will follow in his father's footsteps and attend the prestigious Eton College in Berkshire, England, come September, Kensington Palace confirmed to the BBC Tuesday, June 16.
USA TODAY has reached out to Kensington Palace for comment.
Eton is a boarding school for boys that was founded in the 15th century by King Henry VI. It costs £63,000 a year (around $84,400) and provides education from the ages of 13 to 18. George turns 13 on July 22.
The school is just across the river from the ancient Windsor Castle, which serves as a working royal palace, and is a short drive from George's family home, Forest Lodge.
