When George Pickens finally arrives to the offseason program, the Dallas Cowboys will rely heavily on franchise quarterback Dak Prescott to maintain the peace on the field and in the locker room. The Cowboys have two alpha males at wide receiver, Pickens, who's looking to improve their standing among league front offices, and Lamb, who looks to rebound from an injury and a drops-plagued 2025 season. Both will want the football more than ever, and it will be up to Prescott to keep both happy or risk derailing their 2026 hopes.
On defense, Dallas continues to be linked to Las Vegas Raiders edge Maxx Crosby. The Cowboys don't need to make the move for Crosby unless two things happen. Something injury-related happens, and they're desperate, or they've seen enough from the young edge rushers and decide they need another established edge opposite Rashan Gary. Both have yet to happen, and even if one did, the price the Raiders want could be more than Dallas is willing to pay.
