Houston's first FIFA World Cup match is now officially in the books.
Germany beat Curacao seven to one at NRG Stadium, also known as Houston Stadium, during the three-week-long tournament.
Even with the game over, World Cup festivities continued at the FIFA Fan Festival for much of the day.
However, there were two weather delays. One was around noon and lasted an hour, and another was around 7:30 pm and lasted less than an hour, according to officials.
"We're just watching the game, and the screens went off, and weather warnings popped on the screen," guest Dan Brown said.
