In advance of the 2026–2027 NBA season, the Minnesota Timberwolves have announced a rebranding of their home court, clothing, and emblem. They posted the update on their X account on Sunday, showing off what they have in store for the fans.
The 1990s, when the Wolves joined the league as an expansion team, served as the inspiration for their new logo. It was also when the franchise drafted a Hall of Fame star, Kevin Garnett. This month, fans may purchase the organization’s new merchandise.
There will be a return to the previous logo with the howling wolf. They’ve also released new ***** ociation, icon and statement jerseys.
After seeing the new logo, NBA fans couldn’t help but be excited for the Timberwolves. Here are some of what the fans said.
“These joints are cold as ***** . Would’ve loved the whole ‘Timberwolves’ name spelled out, but this will do,” a fan said.
