Erin Andrews is opening up about the challenges she's faced on the road to giving her son a sibling.
The sports broadcaster, 48, hopes to expand her family with husband Jarret Stoll, according to a Us Weekly report published Tuesday, September 1. The couple welcomed their son, Mack, via surrogate in July 2023 after a years-long fertility struggle.
Andrews and the former professional hockey player, 44, later turned to surrogacy again in hopes of having a second child. In 2025, however, their surrogate suffered a miscarriage, according to the outlet. Despite the setback, Andrews remains determined to keep trying. Still, she acknowledged that expanding her family at this stage of her life has been more difficult than she expected.
"It's a lot harder at [age] 48 than I ever thought it would be," Andrews said, per the report.

The Browns have started the process of setting their initial 53-man roster.
They announced 15 cuts from their training camp roster and one cut from injured reserve on Friday afternoon. All 32 teams need to get down to 53 players by Sunday afternoon's deadline.
Four of the players were released as vested veterans. Cornerbacks Tre Avery and Tyler Hall joined offensive tackle Tyre Phillips in getting dropped from the active roster while tight end Jack Stoll was released from injured reserve.
They also waived tight end Drew Biber, offensive tackle Jeremiah Byers, punter Nik Constantinou, safety Christopher Edmonds, cornerback Nate Evans, defensive tackle Coziah Izzard, defensive tackle Patrick Jenkins, cornerback Jeremiah McClendon, offensive tacke Izavion Miller, defensive end Jamil Muhammad, wide receiver Ben Patterson, and tight end Jermaine Terry.
Cleveland has many more moves to make to hit the roster limit and there will likely be some immediate churning as other players shake free around the league in the coming days.

Day 19 of Cleveland Browns training camp took place Tuesday, August 25. This was the team's final practice session of what we think of as training camp.
1. Securing a Spot? QB Deshaun Watson's first pass of the day went to TE Blake Whiteheart, who has been a regular pass catcher the past few weeks. We'll see if a youngster passes him up, but with TE Jack Stoll going on IR, Whiteheart appears to be the favorite as the team's backup tight end.
2. Sanders to Corley: The back end of the Browns' receiving chart will be interesting. Here is QB Shedeur Sanders finding WR Malachi Corley down the sideline for 7-on 7 drill:
3. Injury on Defense: It's good that several players are returning from injury, but unfortunately, a new one popped up. Rookie undrafted CB Michael Coats, who has been the team's top camp gem this offseason, couldn't put weight on his right ankle and had to be helped off.
4. A Brief Scrum to End Camp: With training camp coming to a close, a few players tried having some fun to cap things off:

(NewsNation) — The attorney for Elizabeth Siders pushed back on suggestions 16 children recently pulled from squalid conditions in Hamden, Ohio, are "almost feral," as one authority described.
"We've already debunked the myth that these kids were almost feral," lawyer Tommy Stolly tells Chris Cuomo on the latest "Crime Time" podcast. "The ones that were of appropriate age had social media pages. There's evidence of that online now."
Ohio 'House of Horrors' Siders family had at least 3 teen marriages: Report
Authorities on June 30 raided the Vinton County residence of 33-year-old Siders and her husband, Gary Siders Jr., 36, and charged them with felony child endangerment. Inside, officials said, police found children ranging from 18 months to 18 years old living in deplorable conditions. Some reportedly needed immediate medical care.
"They looked like almost feral animals," Ohio Attorney General Andy Wilson told reporters. "It was terrible."
