The body of a missing teenager whose kayak capsized has been found in the North Sea.
Michael Henry, 19, was one of two men who found themselves in the water near Boulmer, in Northumberland, shortly after 21:15 BST on 7 July. The other managed to swim to a buoy where he was rescued by the coastguard.
Northumbria Police has now said the body of Henry, from the Rothbury area, was located off the coast of Blyth more than two weeks later on 26 July.
Formal identification has since taken place and a report had been prepared for the coroner.
The search for the teenager was previously called off on 15 July.

The sale of the unwanted cement sculptures from Alan Carr's castle in the Scottish Borders meant more to Clare Stephens than most.
Some of her fondest memories are of visiting the creations at their original home in Branxton in Northumberland.
That is because her grandfather, James "Pim" Beveridge, helped his boss John Fairnington to make them for his disabled son Edwin.
And, although she was unable to secure any of them at auction, Clare said her family had been proud of the level of interest they attracted when they were sold earlier this summer.

A football-obsessed man has decked out his decking and garden in St George's crosses - despite his wife's disapproval.
Almost every inch of Alfie Patterson's garden in Blyth, Northumberland, has been draped in flags - with even the gnomes wearing England kits.
The ****** e will be used by his family and friends to watch England's World Cup semi-final performance against Norway, which kicks off at 22:00 BST.
He said his wife was "a little bit upset" he had painted her favourite decking in red and white, but they had reached a compromise after he promised her he would paint it all-white in time for Christmas.
"It's going to look like snow and give the winter effect, so now she's quite happy," he said.

A parkrun has been cancelled for a second week in a row due to frogs migrating across the course.
Kirkharle Courtyard parkrun, in Northumberland, started last October and event co-director Nick Winslow said they knew the frogs might be an issue in the summer as they migrate every year.
"Normally what happens is the frogs arrive they cross the path they clear off and it's all over in like maybe a week," Winslow said.
However, he said this year the heat was making the whole process take longer as the frogs had slowed down.
"This would have been our 28th event so one of the issues for us is every week we're still kind of learning," Winslow said.

Police are investigating the shooting of a golden eagle found with at least 17 shotgun pellets lodged in its body.
The bird - which survived the incident - was released in the Lammermuir Hills in the Scottish Borders earlier this year as part of a pioneering project to boost numbers in southern Scotland.
Squeagle - a four-year-old female - is fitted with a tag which showed she had travelled through Northumberland, the Pennines and the Yorkshire Dales.
A photograph on 4 May in Northumberland showed damage to her feathers before gamekeepers in the Lammermuirs noticed the bird was in pain and alerted the charity behind the conservation project.
She was collected on 1 June and taken to the Scottish SPCA for ***** sment and treatment.
