Jennifer Lawrence has done a lot in her career so far. She's been nominated for four Academy Awards (winning one), she's bared it all in movies without a double and survived some very public wardrobe malfunctions. One thing she's never done, however, is make a post on Instagram — until now! Lawrence has joined the wild world of social media, but it's not exactly a move she's confident about. In fact, she threatens to "quit immediately" in her first post, and fans have the best reactions.
Social media can be an unkind place, to put it lightly, and that's why many celebrities like Billie Eilish have bailed. Jennifer Lawrence decided to dip her toes in the water, sharing this hilarious warning as her very IG first post:
I love that she's just so matter-of-fact about it. I'm not too optimistic about Jennifer Lawrence's chances of keeping trolls out of her Instagram comments, but that's a problem for another day. In case she follows through on her threat and the video disappears, here is what J-Law said:

Elon Musk's estranged eldest daughter Vivian Wilson is front and centre in a bold anti-AI campaign for Spanish fashion label Desigual.
The campaign, helmed by directing trio PSG (made up of Yukihiro 'Sho' Shoda, Pau López and Gerardo del Hierro - formerly known as TURBO), sees the transgender model, acitvist and social media personality take a stand against artificial intelligence.
Illustrating the campaign's ****** le, 'Born to Disobey', one clip sees the 22-year-old using a robot as a golf tee, walking it like a dog on a leash, and trying to teach it to say "Desigual". Throughout, the robot malfunctions, leading Vivian to the conclusion: "Some things aren't meant to be fixed."
Per a press release, the campaign aims to "send a clear message: the greatest rebellion is no longer about fighting against the system but about refusing to be part of it. When everything invites you to obey, the answer is attitude, irony and the freedom to be yourself."
Wilson told People that it was important to her to take a stance on the impact of AI on the fashion industry "because it takes jobs away from talented creatives while being detrimental for the environment."

Some women list experiences with ripped dresses, mismatched earrings and makeup stains among the wardrobe malfunctions they've had
Many tell PEOPLE that avoiding a wardrobe malfunction isn't entirely possible, but they emphasize the value of preparation, backup outfits and quick thinking to overcome them when they strike
Despite the countless hours of rehearsals and practice that go into a pageant, there is no amount of preparation that can stop a wardrobe malfunction from happening when you least expect it.

Luckily for the contestants gearing up to walk the stage in the 2026 Miss USA competition in Miami, Fla., on Aug. 27, years of experience in the pageant world and other competitive arenas (dance, livestock competitions and more) have caused them to develop creative solutions to even the most devastating wardrobe malfunctions on the fly.

Some contestants recall the usual, dreaded dress rip or getting a stain on their garments just before walking on stage, while others open up about the wildest malfunctions that prompted them to start incorporating new preventative methods into their pre-pageant rituals.

Other contestants have been lucky to avoid malfunctions throughout their pageant career, but have experienced moments in other parts of their lives or witnessed their fellow pageant contestants step on stage in outfits held together by safety pins and string.

Read on to hear some of the contestants' tellings PEOPLE about their worst malfunctions, and what they learned along the way.

There were "no indications" of any mechanical malfunctions or failures of the engine on a skydiving plane that crashed last month in Missouri, according to a National Transportation Safety Board preliminary report released on Thursday.
On June 14, just after takeoff at Butler Memorial Airport in Missouri, the Pacific Aerospace P750 crashed with 12 people on board, including the pilot. Nine of the victims were experienced skydivers, and the other two passengers were about to go on tandem jumps with instructors.
The morning of the accident, the plane had gone up for two skydiving jumps with no problems reported, the report noted. Just before the final flight, the plane was filled with 60 gallons of Jet A aircraft fuel. A post-accident sample from the fuel truck found no sediment or debris present, the NTSB said.
When the plane took off for the last time, it gradually turned to the left, but continued to turn until both wings eventually became perpendicular to the ground. The plane crashed nose-first into a field about 300 yards from the runway and caught fire.
The post-accident review also showed the plane was not overweight when it crashed and met the balance limitations, investigators said.
