A woman who waged a "relentless" campaign of abuse against her girlfriend has been jailed.
Kathryn White, 41, physically and emotionally abused her 40-year-old victim for 11 months, after the pair started a relationship in 2021.
The victim reported White's crimes when she called 999 in July 2022, Cheshire Police said, but she died four days later.
White, of Mayfield Mews in Crewe, Cheshire, was previously found guilty of engaging in coercive and controlling behaviour and was jailed for three years and six months.
The trial at Liverpool Crown Court, which lasted 19 days, heard White began isolating the victim from her family and friends at the start of the relationship.

TIRANA, July 11 (Reuters) - A Miami-based businessman wanted in Albania for allegedly laundering drug money is suspected of faking the deeds to land where Jared Kushner wants to build a multi-billion-dollar resort, the country's organised crime-fighting agency said in case files reviewed by Reuters.
The businessman, Artur Shehu, denies all accusations against him, said his lawyer, Kujtim Cakrani, who confirmed that Albanian prosecutors had issued a warrant seeking ‌Shehu's arrest for laundering money for drug gangs.
The case files accuse Shehu and ******* ociates of trafficking South American cocaine into European ports, and laundering the funds by using them to establish a real estate empire, including with falsified land-ownership documents.

KYIV, June 18 (Reuters) - Four years after Ukraine's Azov Regiment surrendered the last corner of the devastated city of Mariupol to Russian forces, the rebuilt unit is setting its sights on making Moscow pay for its occupation.
That bitter defeat in May 2022 — when hundreds of its fighters were killed or captured — turned Azov into a symbol of endurance in Ukraine and paved the way for its return as a bigger and more powerful force. Now, it is once again focusing ‌on its home city on the Azov Sea.
Drones belonging to First Corps Azov streaked across the sky above the city's strategic seaport last week in an operation that targeted electrical substations, repair facilities and a sanctioned ship and plunged the port into a blackout, ‌according to Kyiv's military.
Reuters was able to confirm the location of parts of a video of the attack posted by the corps.
