Coach Brian Schottenheimer's Dallas Cowboys hit the road to face Green Bay in Week 6 action that started with a pregame tiff. Matthew Golden beat the Cowboys defense for an early score but Dee Winters got his revenge with what looked like a pick-six.
It was later revealed by Matt Schneidman of The Athletic that Golden touched Winters down at the 42-yard-line. It was Dallas' first interception of the season and it included a phenomenal run-after-the-catch that ultimately did not count.
The Packers led 7-0 after one quarter and continued to apply pressure as their Jordan Love-led offense picked up where it left off before the interception. Golden's touchdown exposed a potential weakness on Schottenheimer's defense as the Packers spread out the Cowboys' defenders and found the matchup they liked for a well-executed touchdown pass play.
The game also included tough injury news for Dallas as receiver and return man KaVontae Turpin suffered a concerning injury. Joey Porter Jr. got an injury update leading up to the game and delighted Cowboys fans as he was able to take the field and compete against the Packers' powerful passing game.
