"I feel great," Peet, 54, told host Savannah Guthrie, nine months after receiving her first clear scan in January. "I think about how lucky I was in so many ways."
Peet revealed her cancer battle in a March essay for The New Yorker. The actress said that in August 2025, she went in for a "routine scan" to monitor her "'dense' and 'busy' ****** ." During the appointment, her physician discovered a small tumor on an ultrasound. A subsequent MRI showed Peet had a second tumor, later determined to be benign.
