We asked for your views on Lewis Hall committing his long-term future to Newcastle United after a second summer of key player exits.

Emily: He was the one player I said I didn't want to lose during the transfer window, so I'm delighted he is staying. He is great defensively as well as going forward. He has such a bright future ahead of him.
Kevin: Yes, I am relieved. He is a class player and we need his experience now more than ever, especially with the younger players we now have at the club. I feel he is a future club captain.
