NORMAN — Following a Week 1 shutout of UTEP, ninth-ranked Oklahoma heads out onto the road for a marquee Week 2 matchup.
The Sooners will travel to face No. 16 Michigan at 11 a.m. CT Saturday at Michigan Stadium.
The Wolverines defeated Western Michigan, 13-12, after a 47-yard Hail Mary on the final play of the game. The play occurred after officials added one second to the game clock.
OU, on the other hand, handled the Miners with ease. The Sooners scored on their first eight possessions and held UTEP to 198 total yards.
Quarterback John Mateer looked comfortable within an offense that utilized multiple tight ends for most of the contest. He completed 11 of his 17 pass attempts for 225 yards and was pulled late in the third quarter.
