The No. 18 ranked TCU volleyball team picked up its first win of the 2026 season Sunday, sweeping UNLV 25-17, 25-16, 33-31 to close out the Players Era Volleyball Showcase in Las Vegas. The Horned Frogs hit .264 as a team and limited the Rebels to a .139 hitting rate. Evan Hendrix posted a double-double with 13 kills and 11 digs for the Horned Frogs (1-1), who hit over .300 in the first two sets. Jalyn Gibson added eight kills on a .444 hitting rate.

Becca Kelley chipped in eight kills, while Rosemary Archer sent out 23 ***** ists and Reese Wilburn followed with 13 ***** ists to pace the TCU attack. Kinsley Young led the front-row defense with five blocks and added six kills on a .455 hitting rate. Alice Volpe anchored the back row with a team-high 14 digs. Aiding the middle was Reese Robins, who collected seven kills on a .455 hitting rate while blocked three total shots in the match.
