The Step Up alum, 45, spoke with PEOPLE at the Dancing with the Stars Season 35 red carpet cast reveal and shared that her 13-year-old daughter Everly is one of the reasons she's doing the reality competition show this year. Dewan, who began her career as a backup dancer for Janet Jackson, revealed that this is the first time the show asked if she'd like to join.
