Matthias Jaissle watched on as his Newcastle United team comprehensively defeated Tottenham away from home.
The longer the game went on the better United looked.
Matthias Jaissle was appointed by Newcastle United on 5 August 2026.
Only 24 days later he is delivering his second NUFC victory and in reality, so unlucky not to be sitting here with a perfect three from three, Liverpool having got so lucky at St James' Park.
Such a summer of upheaval on Tyneside and yet the new boss has dealt with it all brilliantly.
