The debate over the Ballon d'Or has exploded once again following the latest remarks from José Mourinho. The Portuguese coach, always direct and unfiltered, shared his own view of what this award really represents in modern football.

However, he insists that the best player on the planet plays in another league: "The best in the world doesn't have to be from PSG or Spain. There are two, three or four, and we know who they are".
