The opening week of the 2026 high school football season in El Paso and across Texas is set for Thursday, Aug. 27, and Friday, Aug. 28.
Among the top El Paso games in El Paso on Thursday are Montwood at Hanks and Americas at Canutillo.
On Friday, some of the top games are Bel Air vs. Eastwood, Del Valle vs. Eastlake and Austin vs. El Paso High.
