A former Michigan State tight end has been added to the Eastern Michigan roster for the 2026 season. Reeves Taylor has joined the Eagles, a late announcement before the season begins.
Taylor, a Dexter (MI) native, played at Ventura Community College in 2023, his freshman year. Following that, he joined Michigan State as a walk-on tight end. He did not see game action for MSU.
Following a season with the Spartans, Taylor went to Independence Community College to play quarterback. At Independence he Completed 45-of-72 passes for 449 yards and two touchdowns. Now, he has joined Eastern Michigan, where he is slated to be a long snapper for the Eagles.
