Matt Damon traded movie premieres for mouse ears as his family gathered at Disneyland to celebrate daughter Gia reaching a major milestone.
The 55-year-old actor visited the Anaheim theme park on Aug. 20 with wife Luciana and all four of their daughters: Alexia, 27, Isabella, 20, Gia, 18, and Stella, 15. The outing marked Gia's 18th birthday and brought the famously private family together for a rare group appearance away from a Hollywood red carpet.
They made the occasion easy to spot. Gia wore a custom Disney-themed shirt identifying her as the "birthday girl," while Damon and the rest of the family coordinated in matching "birthday crew" shirts, according to PEOPLE's report from Disneyland.
Disneyland was already preparing for its fall festivities, allowing the family to pose in front of the giant Mickey Mouse pumpkin on Main Street, U.S.A., one day before Halloween Time officially began.
Damon and Luciana were joined by Alexia, Isabella, Gia and Stella for the park day. Just Jared reported that Alexia's boyfriend was also part of the group. Gia's shirt featured Sleeping Beauty Castle with Mickey Mouse ears and "birthday girl" lettering, while the others wore coordinating "birthday crew" designs.
