Fabrizio Romano reported it a couple of days ago, and major news sites have now followed up, although we're still awaiting the official announcement – Joao Pedro has signed a new contract at Chelsea.
It's just reward for an excellent first season and a very promising summer leading into the second. Interest from other teams was growing, and it made sense for the Blues to lock their Brazilian star down, as well as to pay him at a level commensurate with his importance to the team.
