Aston Villa are reported to have made enquiries to explore the terms of a potential transfer for AC Milan player Christopher Nkunku (28), according to reports from Onze Mondial.
The forward, who is said to have been placed on the transfer list by his new manager Ruben Amorim, is also reportedly on the radar of Newcastle United, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig. Turkish and Saudi clubs are also said to be monitoring his situation, whilst the Rossoneri are reportedly open to the idea of loaning him out.
Having arrived in Lombardy from Chelsea for a fee of €37m a yeard ago, Nkunku made 35 appearances (17 as a starter) across all competitions last season, proving decisive on 11 occasions, scoring eight goals and providing three ***** ists.
Making two appearances during the Milan club's pre-season, he notably scored a goal against rivals Inter Milan. Nevertheless, Amorim considered these performances to be insufficient to convince him to rely on his strengths for the upcoming campaign.
