Former NFL linebacker Chad Brown strongly rejected LeSean McCoy's claim that Antonio Brown should be taken over Jerry Rice. Brown argued that Rice's career separates him from every other receiver.
McCoy made the comparison while appearing on Speakesy, praising Antonio Brown's peak and overall ability. He went as far as choosing Brown over Rice.
"[Antonio Brown] should be a first ballot HOFer… If it's AB or Jerry Rice, I'm taking AB," McCoy said.
That opinion immediately drew a sharp response from Chad Brown. The former linebacker argued that Rice's greatness cannot be measured only through athletic ability or peak production.
"This is some clown s**t," Brown said.
