WALTON — There's good news at Lewis Cass in regards to athletic trainer Sally Young being back on the sidelines as the athletic trainer.
For awhile it looked like that might not be the case. There was a petition on Change.org that got 505 verified signatures. The petition stated: "For residents of Walton, Indiana, and particularly for those of us with children at Lewis Cass High School, the potential job loss of our beloved athletic trainer, Sally Young, is a deeply personal issue."
For a time it looked that Young might be out of a job at Lewis Cass.
But Parkview Logansport Hospital stepped up to the plate and saved the day.
Lewis Cass' previous superintendent Dr. Christopher Daughtry, who recently took the job at Wabash City Schools, also had an ****** ist, as well as the Lewis Cass school board.
