Since leaving General Hospital and her role as Sam McCall behind in 2024, Kelly Monaco has remained relatively quiet and even went more than a year without posting on social media. In May, she broke her silence with a positive post as she turned 50 and looked toward the future. Now, she has made another Instagram appearance detailing her perfect day with her hometown team.
Monaco just spent more time back east in her hometown of Philadelphia with her favorite football team and her favorite football family.
"A day that could only happen in Philly," she wrote. "The best part? Sharing it all with kellysmom1, my nephew _kalebb, and one of my closest friends daveophilly. 20+ years of friendship, two Philly kids, and somehow Dave always finds a way to make every visit home unforgettable. Go Birds. Go Phils. Philly, you never disappoint."
In the post, Monaco shared a series of photos from an incredible day at Lincoln Financial Field, the stadium where the Philadelphia Eagles play. In Monaco's May post, she featured a video with her college football star nephew, Chris Monaco, "getting me back in shape."
Fellow Philly native Kristen Alderson, who co-starred with Monaco on GH as Starr Manning and Kiki Jerome, said, "My fellow Eagles sis lookin [like fire]."
