The Philadelphia Eagles have a new offensive coordinator in former NFL quarterback Sean Mannion after firing Kevin Patullo after a disastrous 2025 season.
Part of the problem for the Eagles wasn't just the stagnant passing game or brutal run game; it was the regression of the "Tush Push" play. It just didn't work as it did before last year, running well below the success rate of prior seasons.
So, with a new offensive coordinator, there have been some questions about whether the play would return or not. Well, according to Tim McManus of ESPN, the Eagles' new OC revealed his plans: the Tush Push isn't going anywhere.
"Eagles OC Sean Mannion said the Tush Push will be part of the offense," McManus reports. "Not going away in the new system."
