Santiago Castro immediately made himself available to Gian Piero Gasperini.
Ready, steady, go, and upon arriving at the Giallorossi, the Argentine started immediately, first against Cardiff and then against Newport.
Roma flopped in their first friendly in Wales, losing 4-1, but they won convincingly in the second match.
Against the League Two club, the Grugliasco-born coach's team won by the same scoreline they had in their first match, 1-4. The new number 9 stood out, providing an ****** ist for Mario Hermoso and a goal from the penalty spot.
However, a brawl also broke out during the match.
