The drawn-out Yan Diomande transfer saga has finally reached its conclusion. Real Madrid have secured the Ivorian's signature, with the La Liga giants confirming they had struck an agreement with RB Leipzig in an official club statement on Thursday afternoon.
It read: "Real Madrid CF and RB Leipzig have reached an agreement for the transfer of player Yan Diomande, who will be linked to our club for the next seven seasons, until June 30, 2033."
The 19-year-old will reportedly set Real Madrid back a potential £120 million ($161.5 million). That figure is substantially higher than what transfer rivals Liverpool were prepared to pay earlier this summer, as per the Liverpool Echo.
