Wide receiver Dallas Wilson is one of the most exciting players on Florida's roster. The second-year pass catcher spoke to reporters on Tuesday after Florida's pre-fall camp press conference and touched on the renewed energy in the building.
Wilson said he was excited to play in a diverse offense under coordinator Buster Faulkner and addressed the bond developed amongst the players over the offseason. He also reflected on his injury issues last season and how it helped him grow as a person.
A dynamic personality, Wilson wasn't shy about sharing the fun the players are having within the receivers room. Challenging one another and competing with the defensive backs make for a positive environment, one that's helped develop that aforementioned bond.
Here's everything Wilson said.
I mean, it's a real diverse offense. You've got long shots, then you've got JB running the ball back there. Man, who's going to stop that guy? So it's like, when you're running these routes or running these plays with Coach Buster and doing the things he's asking you, it gets real fun. It's like just going out there, backyard football.
