Alejandro Garnacho has suggested he's rediscovering his love for the beautiful game in what seems like a pointed jab at former club Chelsea. The Argentine made his Aston Villa debut against Indonesia All Stars as Unai Emery's team secured a 3-1 win, after which the 22-year-old couldn't help taking a shot at the Blues.
Garnacho linked up with the UEFA Europa League champions on a season-long loan arrangement with a conditional obligation to purchase for £43 million ($57.7 million), should Villa choose to activate it. There appears to be no affection remaining for his previous employers after hinting at a miserable spell at Stamford Bridge.
Xabi Alonso deemed the forward expendable following his appointment as permanent boss. Garnacho, who departed Manchester United amid controversy last summer, has now ignited another acrimonious fallout after leaving a club, as per The Mirror.
