The Yankees have scouted outfielder Heliot Ramos "for more than two weeks," according to Sunday's report by the San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser, with the outfielder among the San Francisco Giants' potential trade chips entering Monday's 6 p.m. deadline.
Slusser mentioned Ramos, 26, as a player "who could go via trade" with the Giants at 47-65 exiting this weekend.
The Philadelphia Phillies have also scouted Ramos in the same timespan as New York, according to Slusser.
While primarily playing left field, Ramos is slashing .264/.304/.424 with nine home runs and 34 RBI through 74 games this season.
He logged a career-high 157 games in 2025 and slashed .264/.304/.424 with 21 home runs and 69 RBI.
