Skubal, the reigning two-time American Cy Young Award winner, adds to an already stacked roster and rotation filled with future Hall of Famers as the Dodgers go for a three-peat this fall.
The Milwaukee Brewers, who were swept by the Dodgers in the National League Championship Series last year, appeared to have the prospects to be in the conversation for a player like Skubal even if he only ended up being a rental.
Meanwhile, the Dodgers shipped out their No. 5, No. 7 and No. 17 prospects in exchange for Skubal.
