Inter Milan have renewed their interest in Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones as they continue their search for reinforcements ahead of the new Serie A season.
The Italian champions remain keen on signing the England international despite seeing an earlier approach rejected by Liverpool earlier this summer.
According to The Athletic, Liverpool turned down an opening bid worth around €25 million before making it clear they value Jones at closer to €40 million.
Inter have since returned through intermediaries with an improved proposal of €35 million, although that still falls short of Liverpool's asking price.
The Premier League club are understood to have little interest in lowering their valuation.
