J. Stern & Co. has agreed to combine its Swiss operations with Geneva-based **** et manager bvo capital.
After completion, J. Stern & Co. will manage more than $2.8bn in **** ets. That total includes more than $2.3bn in its flagship World Stars Global Equity strategy.
The value of the deal has not been disclosed. The transaction remains subject to approval from Swiss regulator FINMA.
"The agreement brings together two firms with highly aligned investment cultures, complementary client bases, and a shared commitment to long-term investing, based on proprietary research in high quality global businesses," J. Stern & Co said in a statement.
Christopher Rossbach and Katerina Kosmopoulou will remain in charge of the World Stars Global Equity strategy.
