Reports in recent days suggested PSG could test City's resolve for the Ballon d'Or winner.
However, the French club are understood to be completely satisfied with their current midfield options and are not planning any major additions in that area this summer.
Luis Enrique's side believe they already possess one of Europe's strongest midfield units, with Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz and Joao Neves all playing pivotal roles in last season's historic campaign.
