After Leon Goretzka's departure, questions were raised over who would take his spot in the midfield. Bara Sapoko Ndiaye impressed in his cameo appearances towards the end of Bayern's season. So much so that Die Rekordmeister decided to sign the 18-year-old talent from Gambian academy Gambino Stars Africa permanently.
Bayern Munich Sporting Director Christoph Freund confirmed the signing on Saturday, reports two days later confirming that Ndiaye signed a five-year contract.
