The Dallas Cowboys seemed to be against the idea of making a move for a high-profile veteran linebacker to give them more stability at the position.
How is it so obvious? The five-time Super Bowl champions haven’t done much outside of acquiring Rashan Gary from the Green Bay Packers and Dee Winters from the San Francisco 49ers, who, while talented, aren't exactly world-beaters.
In Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox’s opinion, the Cowboys could fix their LB problem by signing an age-defying former Washington Commanders All-Pro linebacker.
“Linebacker Bobby Wagner continues to win the battle against Father Time,” Knox wrote last Friday. “The 36-year-old remains a high-volume starter and a productive player in every facet of his game.” The reigning Walter Payton Man of the Year just wrapped his 14th straight season with 100-plus tackles.”
