Everton are closing in on a move for Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney, and a deal could be fully agreed later this week, according to the Telegraph. Everton manager David Moyes has identified the Englishman as a Toffees target as he looks to bring top players to the Hill ****** inson Stadium club. Hackney has also been linked with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, but it is the Blues who are now expected to sign him.
Everton will be paying around £25 million for the 23-year-old after Middlesbrough knocked back at least three bids for him.
