A man who resembles Travis Kelce has Salem, New Hampshire, buzzing.
The Salem New Hampshire Police Department is searching for a suspect whose photos suggest he's a dead ringer for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. Officers shared three images of the unidentified man in a Wednesday, June 24, Facebook post as part of the department's recurring "Wanted Wednesday" series, alleging he stole a purse from inside a vehicle, then used the victim's credit cards.
"Today we have a suspect that apparently doesn't know he can't take others things," the department wrote, adding, "Purses. Money. Bucket hats." Officers then addressed the suspect directly: "GUESS WHAT PAL, you may look like Travis Kelce, TE for the Kansas City Chiefs and, possibly his more well known claim to fame, current fiancé of Taylor Swift, but your good looks and cool sty (kids call it "sty" I think.) can't get you outta this one!"
While Salem police hunt for their look-alike, the real Kelce, 36, has a far more glamorous event ahead. As In Touch exclusively revealed, Kelce and Swift, 36, are set to marry at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The Salem NH police even entertained the idea that Kelce might somehow be the culprit, joking, "Are we sure this isn't Travis, actually? Anyone know where he's been? Have times been tough? I mean I know the Chiefs missed the playoffs…." They quickly reconsidered, writing, "Na, it can't be. He's a Swifty. He wouldn't do this."
