The 1996-born defender spoke to Sky about his extension a few days ago: “Negotiations are ongoing, I’m waiting. There are insiders, my agent, myself, and the club: we’re talking and we’ll continue to do so. I’m waiting for answers and we’ll see what happens.”
The Giallorossi defender has an offer of just over €3 million until 2029, with an option for another year.
Roma and Gianluca Mancini continue to negotiate a contract renewal.
As Matteo Moretto reports, the deal is close, but a deal hasn’t been finalized yet. This is why Inter are an interested spectator. The Nerazzurri are waiting, looking for a central defender following De Vrij’s departure to Panathinaikos.
